The name Sitka Silviculture has been synonymous with skilled and successful reforestation for 25 years. Paul Agnew brought Sitka Silviculture to Vancouver Island over ten years ago, and was joined, eight years later, by project manager Scott Lemkay. Our team has planted trees from the base of Mount Arrowsmith to the Beaufort Range, all the way to the open waters of the Broken Group Islands. We look forward to continued growth as Vancouver Island’s leading full service forest professionals as we expand to include wildfire management services, assisting private land owners in protecting their assets.

PAUL AGNEW
OWNER/OPERATOR
Paul brings an extensive history in forestry to Sitka Silviculture. An accredited surveyor, Agnew has spent his life on Vancouver Island in a number of forestry roles, including 15 years’ ownership of Sitka Silviculture. He is extremely passionate about protecting the health of Vancouver Island’s stunning forests.
SCOTT LEMKAY
OWNER/PROJECT MANAGER
Scott began tree planting in Port Alberni at the age of 22, and has accrued two decades of planting, brushing, and surveying experience. He has overseen the planting of more than 25 million trees throughout the Alberni Valley over the past 16 years.
